Coloured roof coating in colour
A tired-looking roof gets back an even colour and a surface that repels water, without going through a full replacement.

BeforeAfter
The problem
Why it matters
A 25-year-old concrete tile is not necessarily finished: it is faded and porous. Recoating it with a water-repellent product costs a fraction of a re-roof and adds about ten years to its life.

How it runs
How we go about it
Every step exists for a reason. The ones that get skipped are exactly the ones that bring the problem back.
Porosity diagnosis
An absorption test. If the tile is too far gone, we say no and price a renewal instead.
Full clean
Moss removal and rinsing. Paint over moss does not last six months.
Repairs
Broken tiles replaced, ridge tiles repointed.
Primer
Primer sealer on a porous substrate.
Two coats
Cross-pattern airless application, colour of your choice from the range.
Included in the price
What the job covers
- Documented porosity test
- Full moss removal first
- Replacing broken tiles (per unit)
- Bonding primer
- Two coats of coloured roof coating
- Protecting the facades and the surrounding area
Frequently asked questions
Your questions
Does it really hold up?
On a sound, properly prepared surface, 10 to 15 years. On a tile that is crumbling, no — and we turn the job down.
Which colours are possible?
Anthracite, slate, red-brown, sienna. Light colours are not advised: they show every mark.
Is it allowed everywhere?
In some protected centres the roof colour is regulated. We check with the municipality before ordering the product.
Can natural slate be painted?
No. It has to stay breathable; a film-forming paint makes it flake off.
How long between the cleaning and the painting?
48 h of drying minimum, three days in damp weather.
Does the coating improve waterproofing?
It limits how much water the tile takes in. It does not replace a failed underlay.
