Asbestos removal
Removal, packaging and disposal of asbestos fibre-cement sheets, by the book, with full traceability.

The problem
Why it matters
Plenty of garage, outbuilding and shed roofs built before 1998 are asbestos fibre cement. As long as nobody touches them, the risk is low. The moment you break, drill or brush them, it is not.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions
How do I know if my roof contains asbestos?
The age gives a strong presumption: before 1998, corrugated fibre cement sheets nearly always contain it. Only an analysis confirms it, and we organise that.
Can I do it myself?
For a private individual working on their own non-friable sheets, Belgian law tolerates it under strict conditions. In practice, the slightest dry breakage releases fibres. We advise against it.
Do you have to leave the house?
Not for an outbuilding roof outdoors. We cordon off, we protect, and we ask you to keep doors and windows on the work side closed.
What happens to the sheet after it comes off?
It leaves wrapped, bound for an approved facility. You are given the disposal docket: that is your proof.
Do you then fit the new roof covering?
Yes, and it is simpler: one company, one schedule, no gap between two visits.
Are there any grants?
Depending on the Region and the period, yes. We point you to where to look, without ever promising an amount on your behalf.
